Twitch Paintings

So I've been completely lazy when it comes to doing art after work.  It's completely natural to take it easy after 8 or more hours of productivity.  I've fallen into this trap more times than I'm comfortable with but needed an extra push.  That's when I started to browse Twitch.

When Twitch started their Creative section I was curious.  Seeing so many artists of different paths create live inspired me to keep going with my craft.  After completing my first stream I felt some of that old artistic drive come back and now with my small following, I feel like I have an obligation to continue painting live.  Just the boost I needed I think.

If you wanna see me struggle with painting, come watch here!

Two attempts on the same subject.

4th Year Film Update #2

Mission accomplished!  I finally finished my film, well to be honest I was finished on April 5th, and I've been trying to complete the last remaining milestones (Demo Reel, Portfolio, etc).  Unfortunately, I don't have much in the realm of visual development due to fully devoting my time to finishing this film.  I will be submitting my film to some festivals so I won't be able to post my film online just yet.

I really can't wait to start another film, but this time I'll go through the proper pipeline now that I know what to do.  My final year in Sheridan is coming to a close, to any of my classmates reading this, it's been great!

EDIT:  I got into TAAFI!  Click here to see what their all about!

4th Year Film Update

Screenshot from "TITAN"

Hey guys!  Just wanted to upload some stuff from my animated short "TITAN", I've been stuck at the rough animation stage for so long now, I feel like a turtle.  I probably just get distracted too easily.  Also, I'm finally getting the hang of making an animated film.  To be honest, I haven't been following the proper process, I've had to take a lot of shortcuts just to reach milestones but now I'll know what to do for next time.  Anyway, enjoy!

A WIP scene, smoke and debris is difficult!

Film Teaser

Hey guys, some of you have already seen this on Facebook, but figured I should post this up here as well.  This is the first completed scene for my film TITAN.  This scene also served as a workflow test/final scene mock-up.  I added in some sound effects to help me imagine what the rest of my film would sound like, but unfortunately I will have to re-do them during the Sound Design stage of my film. Been pretty much trapped at home working away at this film, trying to catch up on all the electives and milestones needed to graduate.  It's almost time, just a few months left.

Animation gods grant me strength!

Random Film Stuff
